The original Ulster Pottery Company was a short-lived ceramics manufacturer established by James Corr and John McNally around 1888–1889 in Coalisland, Ireland, producing high-quality tableware and ornaments with an Irish slogan maker's mark. Production ceased in May 1891, followed by a large auction of its goods in Belfast the next September. The company, which hired workers from Belleek Pottery, made fine "delph" using clay imported from Cornwall and local sources.
