Patric Stevenson, born Sussex, 1909. Stevenson studied in Belfast, then the Slade, London. He became director of the Hillsborough Art Centre (which closed during the Troubles). He became a full member of the Royal Ulster Academy, then became its president in 1959. His work can be found in public collections such as The Ulster Museum, HRH The Duke Of Edinburgh and Waterford County Council.
