Benjamin Edwards Flint Glass House, Ballymacarret Belfast 1776 - 1827.
In 1801, Edwards erected an Iron foundry on merchants Quay in Newry. From his factory in Belfast and his warehouse in Newry, Edwards sold flint glass, cut glass, flowered and enamelled. Marked examples are rare. Offered here for sale is a blow-moulded fluted pattern rinser bowl with 'B. Edwards Belfast' subtly impressed on the base along with a pontil mark.
